Reporting directly to the Nurse Director of Emergency Department ED, the Director of Emergency Room ER will work in a hospital that has leading-edge technology across all elements of care with a certified STEMI receiving center and Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP).

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER will manage the delivery of nursing services and patient care which meet or exceed cost, quality, clinical and utilization standards and performance measures in the hospital setting. The Emergency Department ED Nurse Director will ensure that services meet patients, physician and internal clients needs in a changing, competitive healthcare market and in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of the medical Center.

The Nurse Director of the Emergency Department ED will direct, supervise, coordinate, plan and evaluate unit functions and activities in order to provide cost-effective care of high quality according to the standards of the hospital. The Emergency Room ER Nurse Director will also manage quality improvement and risk management activities of the unit; implements changes in policy, actively participates in the administration of the Department of Nursing.
