The Nurse Director of Cardiac Services will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and work closely with the Practice Managers to assure productive and profitable day to day operations for the cardiac program. Providing continued support to internal cardiac management to ensure continued cost-effective clinic operations and desired service line margins. Supporting the Cardiac Services Nurse Director is an outstanding team of professionals made up of Cardiac Clinic Managers, Cath Lab Managers, and Electrophysiology Lab Nurse Leaders.
The Director of Cardiac Services will have both administrative and clinical oversight. With a heavy focus on clinical quality improvement for both patient experience as well as employee satisfaction the Director of Cardiac Services will serve as a key leader in daily hospital operations. Overseeing managerial management and implementing essential training and education to clinical staff needed to create a team of high performing health care professionals.
Along with providing clinical oversight, the Director of Cardiac Services will perform as an administrator for the Cardiology team. Ensuring proper compliance implementation that follows accreditation standards. Working closely with Credentialing Coordinators to establish proper staffing and assist in cardiology physician recruitment. Playing a large role in fiscal efficiency for the cardiovascular department by implementing objectives that will increase overall revenue and in turn best patient care practices.
