The Nursing Director of Psychiatric Mental Health Unit will work for a hospital that is founded upon and advances with the vision to be a values-driven integrated healthcare delivery system in collaboration with those who share the same values. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director of Psych Behavioral Health will be responsible for the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Services. The Nursing Director of Psychiatric Behavioral Services will recruit, train, evaluate and manage staff. The RN Director of Behavioral Mental Health Services will share the responsibility of maintaining and creating budget for the department.
The Psych Mental Health Services Nurse Director will also assist with staff development, scheduling, updating policies and procedures and performance improvement efforts. The Nursing Director of Psychiatric Mental Health Unit will represent the department on various hospital committees and collaborate with department heads to meet the overall strategic objectives.
