An accredited Critical Access hospital located in eastern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Med-Surg and Cardiac Rehab to join their award-winning team.
This full-service Critical Access hospital is home to over 20 licensed beds and is proud to offer exceptional primary and acute care services such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), General and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, and a fully-equipped Sleep-Lab. Since its opening over 50 years ago, this state-of-the-art Critical Access Hospital has become a vital part of the community’s healthcare initiatives by providing inpatient and outpatient clinical services.
Under direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director will oversee all clinical and administrative functions of the Medical Surgical, Cardiac Rehab, and Infusion units. The Nurse Director will oversee all personnel management, resource allocation and maintenance, and service line fiscal maintenance. The Nurse Director is expected to promote an environment that boasts quality, safety, and patient centered care.
The Nurse Director must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing with current state licensure. A minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience and at least two years of prior leadership is required to be considered for this role. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are also required.
