The Magnet Program Director is a Registered Nurse who will be responsible for providing direction, leadership and coordination of the Magnet application, designation and re-designation. As a very important leader, the Magnet Program Director will educate nursing staff while supporting a shared governance model within the organization. This position will coordinate the integration of Magnet standards in accordance with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The Nurse Director Magnet Program will serve as a liaison between all departments within the hospital to promote nursing excellence and to further the Magnet vision. The Magnet Program RN Director will work closely with the CNO and other hospital leadership in carrying out the Magnet Program goals.
