Nurse Director Labor and Delivery

A wonderful opportunity has opened up for a Director Labor and Delivery in a beautiful and widely respected San Antonio Metropolitan Area hospital. The Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will oversee all department operations and oversight for a beautiful and fairly new Women’s Services Department. 

The Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will oversee the Perinatal Department consisting of 24 beds across the L&D, Mother Baby, and level II NICU units. The RN Director Perinatal Services will oversee a total of 75 FTE’s and will be able to foster strong physician relationships within the department.

The L&D Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will have the support of a Clinical Director L&D, Labor and Delivery Charge RN’s, and an experienced nursing staff. The Director Women’s Services will have nursing leadership experience and excellent Labor & Delivery nursing clinical expertise.
