The ICU Director will be responsible for overseeing patient care, personnel management, and administrative needs within the Intensive Care Unit. The modern Intensive Care Unit is a 15+ bed combined medical-surgical unit, which serves respiratory, neuro, cardiac, and trauma patients. The ICU is proud to have over 8 nationally-certified nurses.
They will advise staff, physicians, and nurse executives on nursing problems to ensure the needs of patients are met. The Director will develop, interpret, and implement policies to ensure that the ICU complies with hospital and government regulations. They will also participate in CQI activities, maintain performance improvement activities, and assist in formulating the budget.
Reporting directly to the CNO, the RN Director ICU will be supported by experienced professionals including surgeons, registered nurses, staff technicians, and respiratory therapists. The ideal candidate will be equipped with leadership experience.
