An excellent opportunity is now available for a Director Inpatient Nursing Services in California’s Central Valley.
The Director of Nursing reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, and assists with the overall management of the Medical Center. The Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services will oversee a team Senior Managers, and will collaborate hand in hand with the CFO, CEO and COO.
The Director Acute Care Nursing Services will be recommending and implementing innovative organizational structures and delivery models which support the safe and effective provision of patient care, treatment and services and the development and support of a practice environment, which enables the recruitment and retention of a high functioning staff.
The Medical Center provides a wide variety of services, including: Cardiovascular, Neurological, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Labor & Delivery, Surgical Services and Orthopedics among many others.
The Director of Acute Care Nursing Services will be responsible for Medical Surgical Units, Telemetry and the ICU, and will have oversight of over 200 FTE’s.
The Nurse Director Inpatient Services is expected to lead this staff, and continue to raise the bar of excellence the Medical Center is known for. The Medical Surgical, Telemetry & Critical Care Nurse Director will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budget, serve as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promote maximum growth and development of each employee, support nursing research and assure patient advocacy.
