An exciting new Nurse Director opportunity is now available in sunny Southern Texas at a great hospital as an Emergency Department ED Nurse Director. The Nurse Director Emergency Department ED will be in charge of this level II trauma center, providing 24-hour Emergency Department care.
The Registered Nurse ED Director will be responsible for ensuring the coordination of the Nursing Service Emergency Department functions and developing performance improvement activities. The ED Director will report to the CNO and will be supported by an Emergency Room staff of Emergency Department Manager, ER Nurses, techs, and support staff.
The Director Emergency Department will join the leadership team of this acute care, medical and surgical hospital that offers multiple different specialties. This acute care hospital also offers strong support and career growth opportunities within their organization.
The Director ED will also work with the Chief Nursing Officer and the Financial Department to develop operating budgets for the Emergency Department. The ED Director should have previous Emergency/Trauma experience and Nursing Leadership experience.
