Since its opening over 50 years ago, this state-of-the-art critical access hospital has become a vital part of the community’s healthcare initiatives by providing inpatient and outpatient clinical services.
The Nurse Director Emergency Services will provide clinical and administrative oversight of a 10-bed emergency department that is responsible for roughly 7,000 patient visits each year. The Nurse Director will be supported by a team of roughly 20 emergency trained Registered Nurses and ancillary staff. Under direction of the CNO, the Nurse Director will lead the personnel management, resource management, quality assurance and performance improvement, and fiscal budget of the unit.
The Nurse Director Emergency Services must be a successful graduate from an accredited Bachelor’s program of nursing with current state nursing licensure. The Nurse Director must have prior experience leading an acute care emergency department of a similar size, including experience leading a small-medium sized staff.
