A new and challenging opportunity is now available for a Nurse Director of Critical Care and Telemetry in San Antonio Metropolitan Area 200 Bed Medical Center.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care and Telemetry will report to the Chief Nursing officer and will oversee a team of Managers, Supervisors, Charge Nurses, Educators and Staff Nurses.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care and Telemetry unit will see patients in vast ranges of acuity scales, from those who have had minor to sever incidents, to those recovering from cardiovascular surgery, stroke and extreme traumatic events.
The Nurse Director Critical Care and Telemetry will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy. The Critical Care and Telemetry Nurse Director will work with Managers of Critical Care, Trauma, Medical Surgical and Emergency maintaining a premium level of patient care as they move throughout the hospital.
The Nurse Director Critical Care and Telemetry will be managing a busy 25 bed unit Telemetry Unit and 18 bed Critical Care Unit and will be responsible for the twenty four hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of Telemetry department in order to provide quality individualized patient care, to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
