A community hospital in scenic, Northern California is searching for a Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services to join their team.
The acute care hospital is known as a leader in advanced cardiology. It is a Stroke Certified Hospital and utilizes the latest technology in its services. The Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services will have the opportunity to work for a 400+ bed hospital that is dedicated to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients and their families.
The Nurse Director will oversee the Cardiovascular Unit and the Telemetry Unit. The Cardiac Unit offers the full range of diagnostic and treatment options for all cardiac care. The medical center has excellent collaboration among cardiac outpatient, inpatient, and cardiac rehabilitation services to provide a full continuum of cardiac care to patients.
The Nurse Director Telemetry will report to the CNO and will directly oversee 2 Nurse Managers in the Cardiovascular unit and 1 Nurse Manager in the Med/Surg Unit. The Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services will oversee 140 FTEs and will direct and coordinate all operational activities. The responsibilities include to develop policies and procedures, staff, fiscal responsibilities, and will complete additional duties as assigned.
