The Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services will work at a hospital that is known for their extensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular services. With approximately 120 full time employees, the Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services will oversee the inpatient cardiovascular services team of Nurse Managers, Nurse Educators, specialized nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff. The Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services has clinical and administrative responsibility over all inpatient cardiovascular services including the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU and the Cardiac Step Down CSD unit. Responsibilities of the Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services include managing the budget, department staffing (screening, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling), preparing accreditation and survey material, ensuring state and federal regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, developing educational curriculum, and cross collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services should be master’s prepared, and must hold an active RN license with prior leadership experience, and a background working in an inpatient Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU or Cardiac Step Down CSD unit of an acute care hospital or medical center. The Nurse Director Cardiovascular Services is a positive leader who is excited to inspire, cross collaborate, educate, mentor, and be a resource to the CardioVascular Service Line.
