Nurse Director Cardiac Procedural Services

A Magnet designated acute care health system located in Northern Illinois is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Cardiac Procedural Services to join their fully-accredited healthcare team.

The Nurse Director Cardiac Procedural Services will oversee all clinical and administrative functions of the cardiac procedural service line which includes GI, Cath Lab, Cardiac Testing, and Wound Care. The Nurse Director will join an award-winning cardiovascular service line that is known as one of the region’s leading heart hospitals. This state-of-the-art cardiovascular service line offers comprehensive treatment from primary care to critical cardiac care such as open-heart surgery. The cardiovascular services offered include Cardiac Intensive Care, Cardiac Progressive Unit, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Open-Heart Surgery, and Cardiopulmonary Rehab.

The Nurse Director of Cardiac Procedural Services will have oversight of all strategic development, fiscal services, and performance improvement initiatives throughout the service line. The Nurse Director will be expected to oversee and mentor the nurse management staff in regards to unit specific leadership. The Nurse Director will also be expected to communicate fluidly with the physician services and other departments throughout the hospital. This position requires Master’s degree in either Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school is required.
