The Nurse Coordinator Risk Management is responsible for all risk management functions throughout the hospital organization. The Nurse Coordinator Risk Management will assist in organizational projects, event review and reporting, patient complaints, coordination of legal services, and also acts as a clinical and administrative liaison amongst departments and regulatory agencies.
The Nurse Coordinator Risk Management must be a current registered and licensed RN Nurse in the state of New York. This role requires at least 5 years of prior experience in risk management to be considered for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience with claims review, knowledge of current state and federal regulations related to risk management. Knowledge of information technology and medical procedures and protocols is highly preferred.
