This 250+ bed facility provides a full spectrum of healthcare services including a well known cardiology team, orthopedics, cancer care and women's health. This innovative facility is part of a large and well-known healthcare system and is looking to add another amazing member to their staff.
The Nurse Clinical Leader would hold clinical oversight over the Progressive Care Unit and assist in develop and overseeing the progressive care program. This position requires the Nurse Clinical Leader to act as a resource for all nursing staff for patient care, standards, policies and procedures. With no technical FTE's, this position would require you to develop and document all care plans and therapy. Additionally, the Nurse Clinical Leader would oversee and ensure plan of care therapy programs are successfully reached.
This unit focuses on cardiac and pulmonary problems so the Nurse Clinical leader will need a background in critical care and intermediate care. The typical patients in this unit would be those with new pacemakers and defibrillators, myocardial infractions, stroke, and patients who have recently begun potent drug regimens that require monitoring. A Clinical Nurse Leader Certification is a requirement as well a leadership experience in the clinical setting.
