A specialized hospital in Houston is actively searching for an enthusiastic and passionate NICU Nurse Manager to join and work with a team of experienced NICU Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists that ensure high quality patient care. Many of the team members the NICU Nurse Manager will be joining have their CCRN-Neonatal certifications.
The specialized hospital is home to a Level IV NICU and the NICU Nurse Manager will be overseeing high acuity newborns as a part of their daily job responsibilities. The NICU Nurse Manager will ensure the registered nurses on their team have everything they need to provide the highest quality of care to the compromised neonate and their families.
While assisting a team of nurses, the NICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for:
- Reporting to and collaborating with the NICU Department Director and Chief Neonatology Group.
- Facilitating coordination of care for the compromised neonate among all providing disciplines.
- Maintaining and improving patient health through assessing, planning, and implementing nurse interventions and evaluations of patient outcomes.
- Assisting with opportunities for performance improvement to continue gaining accreditations.
