NICU Nurse Manager

An award-winning acute-care hospital in Northern California is looking to hire their next rockstar NICU Nurse Manager. 

The Registered Nurse Manager Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will work for one of Northern California’s premier healthcare organizations. This medical center boasts some of the biggest awards and accreditations in all of healthcare and is known throughout their community as a leader in quality patient centered care. 

This large, high acuity NICU is looking for a NICU Nurse Manager who can oversee over 100+ FTEs. The NICU Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Women’s and Children’s Services and oversee a team of dedicated, hardworking Staff Nurses, Clinical Nurse Educators, Charge Nurses, Assistant Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Patient Care Technicians, and more. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at this medical center prides itself as being a leader when it comes to collaboration and teamwork, and often looks to their leader for guidance. As the leader of the NICU, you will coordinate care with other nurse leaders on developing a seamless continuum of care for the patients that come through your department. 

As the leader of the department, the Registered Nurse Manager Neonatal Intensive Care Unit should possess a strong work ethic that resonates with their staff. The NICU Nurse Manager should possess strong clinical knowledge and skills as this will allow them to be a teamplayer, helping with patient care when required. Working with the NICU Nurse Educator, the Registered Nurse Manager Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will help create inservices regarding core competencies based upon evidence-based practice. The NICU Nurse Manager is in charge of securing an environment that is conducive to learning and professional growth.
