An outpatient-based practice is actively seeking a MRI Technologist to join their growing team.
With state-of-the-art technology and a full-spectrum of services, this organization continues to rapidly grow. Outpatient Imaging Services offered include MRI (High Field Closed + Open), CT Scan, Digital X-Ray, Digital Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Densitometry. This health organization offers five outpatient imaging service locations located throughout the New York community. The MRI Technologist will work Monday through Friday at a state-of-the-art imaging center located in the greater New York region.
Reporting to the practice manager, the MRI Technologist will be accountable for adjusting and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for the procedure, gathering patient medical history, providing patients with shielding to prevent exposure, properly position patients, opening equipment, and updating records. The MRI Technologist will have at least 1 year of Radiologic Technologist or MRI Technologist experience either working in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Additionally, the MRI Technologist should hold their ARRT Certification. The MRI Technologist is familiar with Radiation Safety Procedures and ALARA principles, and is very open to assisting with new-hire training, quality assurance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
