This Medical Center offers a full range of patient care services including Emergency Care, Radiology, Labor and Delivery, Surgery, Rehabilitation, and more. The facility that has been a staple of the community for years, and the incoming Medical Surgical Manager will play a large role in keeping it that way.
The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Acute Care Services and is supported by the Med Surg Assistant Nurse Managers. This is a busy and fast-paced Med Surg unit with an outstanding team of Med Surg Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Inpatient Nursing Assistants. Some RNs have pursued excellence through CMSRN certification. The Nurse Manager will also have the opportunity to work with other Healthcare Leaders in a collaborative environment that advances patient care.
The Medical Surgical Manager will lead and manage the daily operations of this department and will serve the staff by empowering nurses to excel in clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and quality improvement. The Nurse Manager will get to be a change agent and transformative leader for this department. As an administrative leader, this Manager will also take oversight of budgetary maintenance, and will serve as a subject matter expert in Med Surg throughout the facility.
