Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering

A short-term acute care hospital in the vibrant Seattle-Tacoma area is now hiring for a Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering to join their Plant Operations team. The Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering must have prior management experience in a hospital environment.

Reporting to the Director of Plant Operations, the Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering will oversee Plant Operations, Environmental Services, Dietary Services, and Security. The Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering will ensure optimal physical conditions and compliance with the Joint Commission, NFPA, DSHS, EPA, and other accrediting agencies/licensing bodies.

The Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering will ensure that physical plant maintenance and structural improvements (including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration, and carpentry) are safe, timely, and sound. The Manager of Hospital Facilities Engineering will collaborate with the Director and senior leadership to set short-term and long-term goals for the physical plant.
