An exciting opportunity is now available for a Manager of Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Services at a well respected medical center in Southern Oregon.
The Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Services Manager will join a medical center that is respected for high levels of patient care and close ties to the surrounding community. This community hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers comprehensive medical services including inpatient and outpatient care, medical and surgical services, and diagnostic and emergency care.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, The Manager of Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Services will oversee the Cardiopulmonary, Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab Departments. This person will be supported by a fantastic team of Respiratory Therapists (RRT), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologists (RPFT) and Sleep Disorders Specialists. This position will also work alongside Registered Sleep Therapists, Board Certified Sleep Physicians and Cardiologists to provide care to patients experiencing cardiopulmonary, respiratory or sleep issues
The Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Services Manager will help this growing hospital set and change policies to constantly improve the quality of care to each and every patient. This Position primarily oversees outpatient services, but provides services and expertise to inpatient acute care departments - an RRT and / or CRT candidate with a few years of experience managing inpatient Respiratory services will be a great fit for this role.
This Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Services Manager will be responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning. This position will provide collaborative leadership for the process of planning, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services.This person will serve as a mentor to the staff, sponsoring training, skills development, and performance improvement. As an administrator, the Manager will oversee budget, staffing, and quality assurance initiatives. An ideal candidate for this role, will be able to develop and nurture positive professional relationships both internally and across operational boundaries
