Licensed Addiction and Substance Abuse Counselor

A meaningful job opportunity for a Licensed Addiction and Substance Abuse Counselor just became available at a successful outpatient medical center in the San Francisco Bay Area. While LCSW or MFT is a plus, this organization will accept someone in the process of obtaining their Masters in Counseling or Social Work.

Reporting to the Substance Abuse and Homeless Population Program Manager, the Licensed Addiction and Substance Abuse Counselor will provide both one-on-one patient counseling and group workshops. Most counseling sessions will be held at the home clinic site, but some travel to patients’ homes and/or mental hospitals may be required.
