A charming community hospital in Western Texas is looking for an Interim Infection Prevention Manager to lead their hospital Infection Prevention program. The Infection Control Practitioner will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and oversee hospital wide Infection Prevention.
The Interim Infection Control Manager will be available to work a minimum of a 13-week interim contract. The permanent Manager Infection Control position is available and we are looking for an interim to be in this role until the right permanent candidates is selected.
The Hospital Manager Infection Prevention Interim will join the leadership team of this non-profit hospital dedicated to providing the best possible patient care to the members of their community. They have received awards for their excellence in patient safety and are looking for an Infection Prevention Specialist who is able to continue to make their hospital safe by reducing infection control risks.
The Interim Infection Preventionist will survey for infection control hazards and will work with the Infection Control Committee to recommend changes and implementation of ways to reduce those hazards. The Infection Control Manager will work collaboratively with Nurse Leadership, physicians, and nurses to accomplish infection prevention initiatives.
