The Nurse Manager will oversee a busy department that has high patient turnover due to the post-op patients that may only stay for 24-72 hours. The incumbent RN Manager will report to the Director of Nursing that oversees multiple inpatient nursing units.
The MedSurg/Post-Op Nurse Manager will lead a collaborative team that puts patient care at the forefront of every decision they make. The clinical leadership works together to ensure fluid patient flow in and out of this unit and coordinates post-hospitalization care with the case management department. The RN Nurse Manager will develop short and long terms goals and align their department to achieve quality improvement metrics.
