Reporting to the Medical-Surgical Service Line Director, the Inpatient Oncology Nursing Manager will be accountable for the inpatient medical-surgical oncology unit with 24/7 accountability. Responsibilities of the Inpatient Oncology Nursing Manager  include overseeing day-to-day operations, updating policy procedures, ensuring state and regulatory compliance, and department staffing which includes scheduling, payroll, disciplinary action, evaluations, and assisting with the hiring process. Additionally, the Inpatient Oncology Nursing Manager will partner with the nurse educators to provide exceptional educational programs offered to new hires and current department staff. 

The Inpatient Oncology Nursing Manager must hold their BSN, active RN license, and a clinical background working in a medical-surgical unit--ideally with oncology medical surgical experience.
