The Behavioral Health department is an inpatient acute care unit, offering an array of psychiatric services. The unit primarily serves an adult population. Individuals on the unit typically admit themselves or referred by a family member, physician, or other health care provider. Throughout a patient's stay, they will work with an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, nurses, counselors, social workers, and therapists to create individualized treatment plans. To create a welcoming, open, supportive environment, the behavioral health center offers a spectrum of physical and psychiatric wellness programs, including Medication Management and Education programs, Dietary Education, Group Activities, Individual therapy, Journaling Groups, Guided Relaxation, Patient Community Meetings, and more!
Reporting to the Administrative Director, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Nursing Manager will oversee operational work flow of the inpatient behavioral health and recovery center. Responsibilities of the Inpatient Behavioral Health Nursing Manager include creating and managing the budget, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, assisting with staff development, cross collaborating with multidisciplinary specialists, and managing an interdisciplinary team of staff of RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff specialized in different areas of behavioral and mental health.
