The Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Director will join a 150+ bed hospital that is committed to achieving high quality and safe care for the patients and is accredited by The Joint Commission, The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, The American College of Radiology, and The Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists. In the past decade, the hospital has completed a new Surgery Center, added over 25 new medical/surgical beds, has expanded its cancer center by adding an upgraded linear accelerator, and has opened a new main entrance with greatly expanded parking.
The Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Director will develop training materials and assist with any issues that arise within the department. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Director will be responsible for personnel management, clinical policy oversight, patient satisfaction, clinical resource expertise, and compliance with regulatory agencies. They will also be accountable for managing human, fiscal, and other resources needed to support clinical nursing practice and positive patient outcomes.
