The Inpatient Behavioral Health Manager provides 24/7 leadership, coordination, and supervision to the behavioral health unit.  Direct reports include all caregivers during their assigned shift which include Charge RNs, RNs, CNAs, and any other healthcare employee on the shift.  The Inpatient Behavioral Health Manager will collaborate with nursing leadership on identifying necessary education and training, risk management issues, EMR resources, budget evaluation, and management responsibilities including interviewing and performance evaluation.

 

This position is ideal for the Inpatient Behavioral Health Manager who has a passion for contributing to the wellbeing of mental health and behavioral health patients. Candidates should have a background in behavioral health as well as experience in leadership. This is a great position to develop new management skills or enhance current skills in a collaborative environment. Therapeutic and effective communication skills are a must.
