The Oncology Cancer Clinic Nurse Practitioner NP will join one of the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in San Francisco Bay Area, serving over 600,000 residents. In addition to the hospital, the Medical Center operates a network of more than two dozen primary care, urgent care and specialty clinics with recognized medical specialties in joint replacement and orthopedics, neuroscience, stroke and spine, sleep medicine, and childbirth and neonatal care, and provides specialized heart and vascular, and cancer treatment.

The Infusion Cancer Center Nurse Practitioner NP will provide direct clinical care and services to patients and their families. The work is performed with general independence and decision-making responsibility in accordance with national nursing specialty standards and guidelines within the California State scope of practice for ARNP.

The Cancer Infusion Center Nurse Practitioner NP will provide direct patient care in the ambulatory and cancer center setting and report to the Chief of Staff and Medical Office Administrator at the medical office site where services are provided.   The Infusion Oncology Clinic Nurse Practitioner NP will demonstrate the ability to select medications appropriately and in accordance with pharmacy formulary.

The Oncology Cancer Center Nurse Practitioner will act in the best interest of the patient by providing information to make informed decisions in their care.  The Infusion Oncology Clinic Nurse Practitioner will have knowledge and skill to complete patient encounter forms daily with appropriate diagnosis and treatment codes while submitting patient charges daily.
