This hospital boasts a 24/7 Community Hospital Emergency Department, and is licensed for 56 inpatient beds including: An Intensive Care Unit, a Pediatric Ward, and OB/GYN Ward, and an inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric Care Unit. This hospital is continually growing. Each year this hospital sees around 235,00 outpatient visits to its 65-exam room Ambulatory Care Center and 24 chair Dental Clinic. This hospital has everything that a community might need. Recently, a new government housing area was built adjacent to the hospital. This 193-unit government housing facility make up some of the patient visits each year.

This hospital is looking for an experienced Infection Preventionist to join their team and help with the current pandemic. As the Virus surge begins to increase, this hospital has decided that they would love another infection Preventionist to join their team and help with the current pandemic climate. This hospital is looking for an Infection Preventionist that has their current CIC and direct IP experience from an Acute Care Facility. The Infection Preventionist must have an active RN License in AZ or Compact Nursing License. The Infection Preventionist will set standards and evaluate compliance for practices that are associated with the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections. The Infection Control Practitioner is responsible for designing, leading and maintaining a hospital-based infection prevention and control program that is consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions recommendations, JCAHO Standards, OSHA and DPH regulations and current published literature in the field of Hospital Epidemiology. The Infection Control Practitioner will provide consultative services to all areas, both clinical and non-clinical at the local hospital.
