Reporting directly to the Director Infection Control, this Infection Prevention RN Manager will be constantly supported by two Infection Control Generalists and one Specialist. The management team will consistently collaborate with other units within the hospital including the Quality Department, Risk Management, and multiple RN FTE’s to improve Occupational Health Services (OHS) and follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations (OSHA). will continue to reduce infections acquired by the facility (HAC) while using advanced, cutting-edge technology to do so across all departments.
The Infection Prevention RN Manager will continue to reduce infections acquired by the facility (HAC) while using advanced, cutting-edge technology to do so across all departments. They will hold many responsibilities including working with other departments to ensure there is no Healthcare Personnel exposure to infectious diseases. Collaboration with Risk management to generate Risk Assessments to prevent where the facility may acquire infections is a key responsibility to keep health code in check. Additionally, this RN manager will educate staff on reducing infectious outbreaks in the hospital.
