Infection Prevention Registered Nurse will work on-site at a Monday through Friday schedule

This non-profit, acute care hospital offers an array of inpatient and outpatient services, including (but not limited to) a reputable Women and Children Services, Cardiology, Neurology, Digestive Health and Orthopedics team all dedicated to delivering exceptional, quality patient care.
Responsibilities of the Infection Prevention Registered Nurse include planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the Infection prevention and Infection control Program currently being offered at this medical center and the surrounding satellite facilities, initiate epidemiological investigations of unusual clusters or high rates of infection, continue ongoing performance improvement initiatives related to infection prevention and control, identify new processes and procedures to reduce or eliminate infections, educate clinical and non-clinical staff on best practices or techniques related to infection, maintain state and regulatory compliance, and update policy procedures. The Infection Prevention Registered Nurse will work closely with the Medical Staff, Administration, Employee Health Services, System-Wide Infection Control Director, and North Carolina’s Department of Health.
