Reporting to the Infection Prevention and Control Director, the Infection Prevention Epidemiology Nurse will be responsible for data analysis and evaluating patient outcomes associated with infections. As an integral resource for nursing staff and physicians within all departments, responsibilities will include educating and monitoring interdisciplinary team members on infection prevention policies and measures. Additionally, the Infection Prevention Epidemiology Nurse will report infections and transmittable diseases to state and federal agencies.
