A 150 + bed for-profit hospital in the Antelope Valley area is seeking a new Manager of Infection Control.
The incumbent Infection Control Manager is responsible for the management of all hospital activities related to the Infection Prevention and Control Program including:
- Educational program development
- Consultation to departments on matters of infection control
- Ensuring ongoing organizational compliance with regulatory agency protocols
As an experienced Infection Prevention professional, you will be comfortable working with department leaders and supporting staff alike to ensure infection prevention best-practices are performed on regular basis. Reporting to the Director of Quality, the new Infection Prevention Manager will assist with hospital readiness for disaster events, as well as deliver hospital wide updates on Infection Control news and updates in conjunction with CDC and World Health Organization recommendations. The Certified Infection professional will have a large hand in ensuring continual improvement in quality measures and patient safety measures hospital wide.
