A wonderful small community hospital near Seattle, WA is looking for a Hospital Manager Risk Management and Patient Safety to join their Hospital Quality Department. The Hospital Manager Risk Management and Patient Safety will have their Bachelor’s Degree and experience with hospital patient safety and risk management.
The Manager Risk Management will be required to obtain their CPPS Certified Professional in Patient Safety certification within 18 months of hire date. The Manager Patient Safety will report to the Chief Quality Officer and will oversee all hospital Risk Management and Patient Safety programs and initiatives.
This community hospital is a pillar in their community providing essential inpatient and outpatient services. They recently opened a brand-new hospital wing with all private rooms that replaced their critical care, labor and delivery, and medical surgical units.
The Hospital Manager Patient Safety will work with hospital leadership and individual units to ensure they are operating with the best possible patient safety practices. The Manager Patient Safety will do the matrix reporting for work done by the quality analysts in the Quality Department.
