The Pharmacy Clinical Manager will join a multi-specialty health care organization thrives to provide quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, and weight management.
With the support and resources of the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Supervisor, the Pharmacy Clinical Manager will be responsible for implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, inventory management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The Pharmacy Clinical Manager shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable.
The Pharmacy Clinical Manager will also perform quality assurance, drug use evaluation, and adverse reactions reporting activities; participates in the application of all clinical services while accurately record and maintain information required by federal regulations, California laws, and department policy. The ideal candidate for Pharmacy Clinical Manager should have completed PharmD degree from an accredited university.
