Services include: inpatient and outpatient surgery, oncology, 24-hour emergency care and urgent care, primary care, women’s services, pediatrics, diagnostic imaging and radiology, and more. This hospital is accredited by the DNV-GL, and has received several awards for heart and stroke care, oncology, and health resources.
The Hospital Health Information Management Manager will join a tight-knit Medical Records team in this exciting, fast-paced, and highly relied upon department of the hospital. The Hospital HIM Manager will lead a team of coding staff, providing expertise on HIPAA, DNV regulations, monitoring and compliance with coding, and computer systems including Meditech and Cerner. The HIM Manager will also assist the Director of Health Information Management in recruitment and retention of staff, as well as daily operations of the department.
Requirements for this role include:
- Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
- 3+ years experience health information management in an acute care setting
- RHIA and/or RHIT certification(s)
