This trusted non-profit health system is actively interviewing for a Director to oversee Engineering and Facilities Management at a busy Hospital in the Greater Sacramento California area.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Engineering Management Director will play an important and central role across a wide range of operations. Working collaboratively with the Executive Operations Officer and CFO, the Director will develop policies and procedures that will touch nearly every aspect of this organization. Supporting you in this role is a small but strong team of Hospital Maintenance specialists.
The Director of Facilities Management will serve in a role with direct impacts on Health System Strategy, maintaining both Administrative and Operational work processes. On one hand, this person will oversee facility compliance with regards to OSHA, EPA, The State of California, and The Joint Commission, implementing policy and procedure to ensure continued adherence to these governing bodies.
On the other hand, this person directly manage the day-to-day Engineering and Facilities operations personnel in a very hands-on role. The Director will apply strong leadership and project management skills to actively oversee ongoing construction, health care facility efficiency upgrades, and ongoing maintenance at the hospital and all its buildings.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Acute Care or Hospital Plant Management experience to join a larger health system with excellent resources. This facility offers a limited variety of services to the community, primarily focusing on Outpatient Perioperative procedures. This will be a great way for someone with Manager or Supervisor experience in Hospital Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance to take the next step in their career.
