A nonprofit Southern California Medical Center is actively seeking a Director Facilities Management to join their growing hospital group.
The Hospital Director Facilities Management will report to the Chief Operating Officer, and will be supported by a team of facilities management team members, managers and supervisors.
The Director of Facilities Management will be responsible for all new construction, plant engineering and maintenance, construction management, ground services, safety and security, capital projects and overall facility safety. The Director of Facilities Management will oversee the maintenance of the medical centers and numerous buildings in the region. The Director of Facilities Management will be responsible for managing all other contractors and renovations at the facility.
The Hospital Director Facilities management will be responsible for Environmental and linen services, Facilities Management and Safety, Security and Parking Services, Emergency Preparedness. and Disaster Management Command Center Support.
The Hospital Director Facilities will need to insure the hospital meets or exceeds all regulatory and JCAHO requirements. The Hospital Director Facilities management will be responsible for all applicable contract negotiations with vendors.
