The Hospital Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer, who was recently promoted from this position and will be on hand to train and mentor their replacement. The medical center Controller will be responsible for the maintenance of financial records, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal and external financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate for Hospital Controller has a strong analysis background and is either a Controller or Senior Accountant at a short-term acute care hospital or health system. In collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, the Hospital Controller will help achieve the mission of the hospital by bringing to light any issues that may affect the hospital’s ability to provide patient care.
