Reporting to the Clinical Pharmacy Director, the Clinical Pharmacy Manager assists the Director of Pharmacy and assumes the Director responsibilities in their absence. The Manager Pharmacy will work with Pharmacists and Pharmacy staff to ensure quality outcomes in the Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager must have a PhD in Pharmacy minimum with 3+ years clinical pharmacy experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities for the Manager Pharmacy include designing and implementing Pharmacy Programs, overseeing projects, policies and procedures, and will serve on interdisciplinary committees. Attending rounds, performing consults, and medication review are also duties for the Hospital Pharmacy Manager.
