Hospital Chief Financial Officer CFO

The Chief Financial Officer will be joining a reputable hospital that offers high quality inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, medical, surgical and emergency services. As an acute care hospital, they have a Level III Trauma Center, a Certified Chest Pain Center, a Certified Total Joint Restoration Center, an accredited Primary Stroke Center, and are the only hospital in the area to be nationally accredited in bariatric surgery. The medical center also features a Maternal Fetal Medicine program and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations, which includes monitoring, analyzing and directing the administrative and fiscal functions of the organization in multiple campus setting. The Chief Financial Officer will manage accounting, budget management, purchasing, financial, compliance auditing and financial reporting to regulatory agencies and committees of the organization.

The Chief Financial Officer will establish and recommend to leadership team any major corporate economic strategies, objectives and policies for company. The CFO will oversee accounting functions and assure that the company is following GAAP and SAP rules as well maintaining performance measures in accounting.

The CFO will develop and implement finance, accounting, billing and auditing procedures while establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards. The Chief Financial Officer will interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations.

The ideal Chief Financial Officer candidate should have five to seven years progressive experience in Finance with two years in the health plan or healthcare insurance industry. The CFO should have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
