Hospice Home Health Palliative Care Nurse Manager RN

The hospital’s Hospice Program works with families to help them understand what is happening. They also provide expert pain and symptom management, as well as emotional and spiritual support.

Reporting to the Nursing Director of Hospice and Palliative Care Services, the Nurse Manager Hospice Palliative Care works with Nursing Directors, Nursing Managers, Nursing Staff, and physicians, to ensure quality patient care standards are met in the Home Health Hospice Nursing Departments. The Nursing Manager Home Health will also collaborate with other staff to ensure Federal, State, and The Joint Commission standards are also met. The RN Nurse Manager will have a minimum of 2 year’s home health/hospice leadership experience, preferably with a BSN Degree.

Responsibilities for the Hospice Palliative Care RN Manager include managing staff, budget, overall quality of service for the Home Health/Hospice Departments, maintaining and upgrading existing programs, and helping staff to achieve their goals and commitments. Also, other duties include overseeing service lines for Medical, Psychiatric, rehabilitation, and social work services. The RN Home Care Manager will also facilitate patient care operations including organization and management within established policies, procedures, standards of care, and strategic objectives.
