An exciting career opportunity is now available for an experienced Geriatric Psychiatry Nursing Director at a 150+ bed well-respected nonprofit behavioral health facility in Central New Jersey.
The Clinical Nurse Director Inpatient Behavioral Health will join one of the largest Joint Commission accredited behavioral health systems in New Jersey. It has been delivering world class psychiatric care to the community for over 100 years. The facility specializes in inpatient behavioral health treatment as well as rehabilitation programs for substance abuse for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
The Geriatric Psychiatry Nursing Director will supervise the 30+ bed Older Adult Psychiatric and Dual Diagnosis Unit and have oversight of 50+ full time equivalent employees. They will develop training materials and assist with any issues that arise within the department. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services, the Clinical Nurse Director Inpatient Behavioral Health will be responsible for personnel management, clinical policy oversight, patient satisfaction, clinical resource expertise, and compliance with regulatory agencies. They will also be accountable for managing human, fiscal, and other resources needed to support clinical nursing practice and positive patient outcomes.
