The First Assist Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant provides patient evaluations, pre-operation exams, surgery assist, post-operation exams, rechecks, handles pre-op for surgeries and reports all patient conditions and symptoms to the Orthopedic Doctor. This professional will create and maintain an ethical environment encouraging quality improvement and safety standards while contributing to program planning.
