An established acute care medical center located just outside of the Greater Boston region is currently searching for an experienced Family Birthing Services Nurse Coordinator to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This acute care medical center is home to nearly 150-beds and provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical facility is equipped to offer a variety of services including emergency and urgent care, primary care, perioperative services, oncology, pediatrics, and women’s health services. The Family Birthing Services Nurse Coordinator will oversee a labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum department that is home to 20 private suites. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Nurse Coordinator will be accountable for the patient care, staffing, resource management, and conflict resolution within the department. The Nurse Coordinator will assist department leadership maintain organization, state, and federal guidelines.
The Family Birthing Services Nurse Coordinator must have a minimum of 5 years nursing experience working in labor, delivery, recovery, or postpartum settings. The Nurse Coordinator must also have at least 2-3 years of prior leadership experience. This position requires completion of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current Massachusetts state nursing licensure.
