The Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities will join a 125+ bed community hospital, featuring a 24-Hour Emergency Room, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Intensive Care Unit and Women’s Center. The hospital is a top regional top employer and provides care to patients within a several county radius. Supported by a health system network, this hospital is financially stable and has recently made significant investments in increasing service lines to the community.
As the Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities, this individual will oversee day-to-day operations within the Plant Operations department and report immediately to the Chief Operating Officer. This will include leadership of department personnel and equipment, oversight of repairs and upgrades and department staff allocation and financial performance. This Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities will oversee multiple physical locations and maintain a high degree of understanding within HVAC, generator systems, fire safety systems, electrical and boiler operations.
The Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities will very familiar with Joint Commission Standards, Federal Safety Regulations and State and Federal Codes. The Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities will be familiar with project management and engineering related computer software. The Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities will determine project and repair priorities and allocate staff accordingly. The Engineering Safety Director Medical Facilities will hire and assist in the training of department staff, conduct employee performance reviews and provide career planning to department personnel.
