Located in beautiful Oregon is a well-established acute care hospital that is excited to hire a new Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department!

The hospital leadership team is excited to hire their next ER Nurse Manager asap. The ED Nurse Manager will lead the experienced ER team during the night shift. This hospital sees 40,000 patients in the Emergency Department annually. The ER Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with ER Charge Nurses, the Day Shift Nurse Manager and the Nurse Director of Emergency Services. Moreover, clear communication with the House Supervisor will ensure appropriate bed assignment for patients requiring hospital admission

This medium sized hospital is part of a nationally recognized healthcare organization that provides quality patient care by focusing on physical, emotional and spiritual health.  The Emergency Services Nurse Manager will develop their clinical team in alignment of hospital initiatives, community needs and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance of Emergency Room care delivery 

The Emergency Department Nurse Manager that takes on this position will have oversight of nightly operations with the assistance of a well tenured staff. Additionally, the ER Nurse Manager will be asked to:

  • manage resources appropriately
  • strategically plan for unforeseeable patient surges
