This RN Charge Nurse will assist in the supervision of the ER during the night time shift. Working one shift on the floor and the other two as Charge, this nurse will get experience working hands-on while maintain quality of care, providing feedback to nurses, creating work schedules, and helping to oversee admissions and discharge planning. This Emergency Room Charge Nurse will work with different levels of acuity and see a wide range of patient ages. This hospital’s Emergency Department is a level III trauma center for adults and pediatrics. It has a Semi Stroke Sepsis area and an onsite ER Cath Lab. This ER Department prides themselves on their nurse’s success and happily provides enough breaks and lunches to protect their nurses and allow for healthier, happier environments.
